Accessibility

Accessibility at Sanctuary Fitness.

What this website does to be usable by everyone, what the gym offers, and how to ask for what you need before your first visit.

This website

  • Works on any phone, tablet or computer and without JavaScript for reading.
  • A larger-text toggle and a light or dark theme, in the footer of every page, remembered on your device.
  • Headings, links and buttons labelled for screen readers; every image has a text description.
  • No pop-ups, no autoplaying sound, no flashing content. Videos are muted and captioned in the text beside them.
  • Colour is never the only way information is shown.
  • Every page can be reached with a keyboard alone.

The gym

Sanctuary Fitness is at Spectrum House, 1A North Avenue, Clydebank Business Park, with free parking at the building and Singer station about five minutes' walk away. Rather than publish a list that might be out of date, the safest thing is this: message Stevie before your first visit with what you need (step-free access, a quieter session, a chair, a longer warm-up, anything else) and I will tell you exactly what the building and the session can offer. One-to-one Personal Training is always available where a class would not suit.

Sessions

  • Every class is scaled per person. Movements are swapped for injuries, pregnancy, joint problems and anything else you tell me about.
  • Kids are welcome at one-to-one sessions.
  • Instructions are given out loud and shown. Say if you need them written down or repeated.

Tell me what is not working

If something on this site is hard to use, or something at the gym could be better, message Stevie on WhatsApp or email sanctuary@clydebankpt.com. It will be fixed, not filed.

You are on Accessibility. Next: The two prices, nothing hidden.

Not sure where to start?

Most people are not. Message me with what you want to change and I will tell you which of the two options fits, or that neither does. Free ten-minute consult, no contract.
