Privacy notice

In short: no cookies, and nothing you type on the public site is stored on a server. Messages go to Stevie's WhatsApp or email from your own phone. In the members area, what you book, tick and log, and the measurements and PBs Stevie records, are stored online for you and Stevie; the rest stays on your phone.

Short, because there is not much to say. This website does not use cookies or tracking.

What this website collects

Anonymous visit counts only. clydebankpt.com uses Google Analytics in "consent mode" with storage switched off, which means no analytics cookies are set and no identifier is stored on your device; Google receives anonymised, cookieless pings so Stevie can see how many people visit and which pages they read. There are no advertising pixels. The site's forms send your message to me through the site itself (how, below), and there's always a button to use your own email app instead.

Third-party content

The homepage and classes page embed public Instagram posts. Instagram may set its own cookies when those load, under Meta's privacy policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

When you message me

If you contact Sanctuary Fitness on WhatsApp or by email, I keep your name, number and the details you give me to arrange sessions and, if you become a client, to run your programme and nutrition plan. I do not sell or share it. Ask any time to have it deleted: sanctuary@clydebankpt.com.

The forms and the question box

When you send me a message through a form on this site, it's stored with Netlify (the company that hosts the site) and emailed to me through Resend, so nothing goes missing. I also get a short notification on my phone through ntfy.sh with your first name and the start of your message, never your email address. I keep messages the same way as above.

To welcome you back, your phone remembers the last few pages you looked at here, what the "which one's right for me" picker suggested, and any message you started but didn't send (so you can finish it). It also remembers when it last offered you the free starter pack, so it asks once a month at most. That stays on your phone and is never sent to me or anyone else.

If a member sent you the bring-a-friend link, your phone remembers their first name for 60 days, and only that, so if you message me through the site I know who to thank and you both get the deal. It's never sent anywhere unless you send me a message.

If you arrived by scanning one of my posters, flyers or signs (or from a link with a tag on it), your phone remembers which one for 60 days, and only that, so if you message me through the site I can see which poster worked. It's never sent anywhere unless you send me a message.

Health questionnaires, medical updates and photo consent are different: they come to me by email only and aren't stored on the site, and the phone notification only says that one has arrived.

Questions typed into the question box are kept without your name or email, so I can see which questions the site can't answer yet and add the answers. The box reads your question with a small model that runs on your own phone. It's downloaded from Hugging Face the first time, and your question isn't sent to them.

If you tap the microphone and ask out loud, your browser turns your voice into text using its own speech service (in Chrome that's Google's), and only the text reaches this site, the same as a typed question. The site never gets the audio. The answer is read back by your phone's own voice.

Food check (members)

Food photos you send from the members area are shrunk on your phone and stored with Netlify, the company that hosts this site, with the line you add. Overnight, an AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) looks at new photos and drafts a short note on each. I read every note, change what I want, and only then do you see it; nothing goes to you without me. Only you and I can see your photos. Ask any time to have them deleted: sanctuary@clydebankpt.com.

Form check (members)

Photos of a lift you send from the members area are handled the same way as food photos: shrunk on your phone, stored with Netlify with the line you add, looked at overnight by an AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) that drafts form tips, and read and changed by me before you see anything. They're kept apart from food photos, and only you and I can see them. Ask any time to have them deleted: sanctuary@clydebankpt.com.

The members area

The members area is behind a password I give my clients. Some of it saves to your own phone only. The rest is stored online with Netlify, the company that hosts this site, so it's there on any phone and I can see it: the classes you tick and book, the measurements and PBs I record for you, and what you log in your area (steps, sleep, water, food, week notes, and when you're ill or away). Those only show after your name and your PIN. Other members see your name on the attendance leaderboard and the PB board (ask and I'll take you off either), and never anything else. Any notes I make stay with me. If I switch on booking reminders, your email address is used to send them. Ask any time to have any of it deleted: sanctuary@clydebankpt.com.
