Your first visit
Which door, where to park, what to bring.
Everything people ask before their first session, so the only thing left to do is turn up.
Finding us
Spectrum House, 1A North Avenue, Clydebank Business Park, G81 2DR. It is the business park beside Singer station: five minutes' walk from the station, ten from Clyde Shopping Centre, and straight off the A814 if you are driving. Free parking right outside the building.
Open in Google Maps. If you get stuck, WhatsApp 07376 941421 and Stevie will come and get you.
What to bring
- Trainers you can move in, and clothes you can sweat in. Nothing fancy.
- A bottle of water. There is a tap, but bring one.
- A towel if you like one. Optional.
- Nothing else. No forms in advance, no card, no membership number.
What happens in your first session
- Five minutes with Stevie. What you are training for, anything sore or injured, how long since you last trained. Honest answers help.
- Warm-up with the class. Everyone does the same warm-up. Nobody is watching you.
- The session, scaled to you. Same movements as the room, your weights, your pace. Stevie coaches every set.
- Done in an hour. You will be tired, not broken. Most people book the next one before they leave.
Things people worry about
- "I'm too unfit." Everyone in the room started at their first session too. Classes are scaled, and Personal Training slots exist if you want to build up first.
- "I don't know the exercises." That is Stevie's job, not yours.
- "What if I can't keep up?" You rest when you need to. Nobody has ever been shouted at for taking a breather.
- "Do I have to bring the kids?" Kids are welcome at one-to-one Personal Training sessions. For classes, best without.
