Parking, Clydebank
Park at the door.
Free.Spectrum House has parking at the building, including at 6am. No meter, no app, no circling Kilbowie Road at ten to six. Every session coached by Stevie.
Why this is worth a page
Ask anybody who stopped going to a gym why, and somewhere in the answer is the ten minutes before it. The drive in, the full car park, the space you took that was not really a space, the walk back to it in the rain. It is a small thing that ends memberships.
Sanctuary Fitness is at Spectrum House, 1A North Avenue, inside Clydebank Business Park. You turn off Kilbowie Road, onto North Avenue, and park outside the building you are training in.
What the parking is
- Free, at the building, at every time on the timetable including 6am.
- No ticket machine, no parking app, no time limit while you are in a session.
- Lit, and on a business park rather than a side street, which matters coming out of a 5:40pm class in December.
- A few minutes from the Clyde Shopping Centre if you are combining the Saturday class with the shop, but you will not need it.
The walk from the car to the door in the dark
This is a real question about a 5:40pm class in November and it is answered nowhere else on the site, so here it is plainly. The parking is at the building, not down the street: on a normal evening you are a few steps from the door, and the business park is lit rather than a row of parked cars on an unlit road. It is an office park, so at 5:40pm there are still people leaving offices around you, and by the time the class finishes at 6:30pm the car is where you left it, in sight of the door you are walking out of.
If you would still rather not do it on your own, say so. Stevie will walk out with you, and plenty of people who train in the evening leave with somebody else from the class because they are all parked in the same place. The 6am classes in December have the same answer from the other side of the night, and the same lit car park.
The building, so you do not drive past it
Spectrum House is a modern office block. No neon, no glass front full of treadmills, no music leaking into the car park. Look for the Sanctuary Fitness sign at the door. Everybody misses it once; if you're sat outside wondering, WhatsApp Stevie and he comes out.
The exact door is what3words ///pretty.needed.chill, which is more use than a postcode on a business park.
What happens after you park
You come in, get changed, and the class starts on the minute: 50 coached minutes, never more than 30 people, every session run by Stevie. 5:40pm classes Monday to Wednesday finish at 6:30pm and the 6am ones at 6:50am. Then you walk back out to the car that is still where you left it.

Questions
Is the parking really free?
Yes. It is the business park's own parking at Spectrum House, not a council car park and not a meter. No ticket, no app, no two-hour limit.
Is there space at 6am?
Yes. The park is empty at six in the morning and the classes are capped at 30 people anyway.
What about the 5:40pm classes?
The offices on the park are emptying at the time the evening classes fill, so the two miss each other. Come five minutes early and you will park at the door.
Can I get here without a car?
Yes. Singer station is about five minutes on foot, the buses along Kilbowie Road and Dumbarton Road stop within a few minutes, and the Forth and Clyde canal path runs behind the park. Directions, all three ways.
I need step-free access or something else. Who do I ask?
Message Stevie before your first visit and say what you need. Rather than publish a list that might go out of date, he will tell you exactly what the building and the session can do. The accessibility page says the same thing in full.
