Day one
The first Monday,
hour by hour. The next 8-Week Package starts Monday the 4th of January. Measuring from 5pm, first class at 5:40pm. This is what walking in on that first evening is like.
Before the Monday
Two things happen before day one, and both are short. The free ten-minute consult, on WhatsApp or at the gym, is where Stevie works out which of the two options fits and writes your nutrition plan. The health questionnaire takes two minutes on your phone and goes to Stevie by email, nowhere else.
Before any of that there is the free ten-minute chat, at the gym or by WhatsApp or email. Start here.
The Monday itself
- From 5pm: numbers. Weight, and the tape: chest, shoulders, waist, stomach, hips, both biceps, both thighs, both calves. It takes a few minutes, it is done out of the way of everyone else, and the same measurements are taken again in week eight so the result is a number rather than a feeling.
- 5:40pm: the first class. Same warm-up as everyone, same movements, your weights, your pace. 50 minutes, never more than 30 people in the session.
- After it: which classes you are coming to for the rest of the week, then home.
Nobody is asked to perform on day one and nobody is watching you. What a first session is like covers the rest of it.
The first-week planner is a free one-page PDF built from the live timetable: the week as it runs, three blank lines to write your three sessions into, and what to bring to each one. No email address, no form.
The rest of week one
Week one is the week you find out which class times you can make, which is a different question from which ones you meant to make. Every coached class on the timetable is in the price, and so are the small-group Personal Training slots, so the week is yours to fill: 6am classes Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 5:40pm classes Monday to Wednesday and 9am Sanctuary Total Body on the Saturday.
The nutrition plan starts the same week. It is written at the consult, it is not a calorie count, and it is built round what you already eat.
What it costs to be in it
£205 for the eight weeks, one payment, no contract and no membership underneath it. A £68.50 deposit holds a place. Anyone employed on Clydebank Business Park pays £185 instead: the staff price.
Still deciding? What the eight weeks are, what other people ended up with, and both prices with nothing hidden.
Questions
What time do I turn up on the first day?
Measuring runs from 5pm and the first class is at 5:40pm. Come at 5 if you want your numbers taken before it; come for 5:40pm if you would rather be measured later in the week.
Do I have to be measured?
No. It is how the eight weeks get a result at the end instead of an opinion, so most people do it, but nobody is held to it.
What if I cannot make the Monday?
The block runs eight weeks and there are classes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Starting on the Tuesday or the Wednesday costs you nothing except the Monday session.
How many sessions a week is it?
Three or four for most people. Every coached class on the timetable is in the price, so the ceiling is how often you can get here.
Can I still get in for this one?
Message Stevie and ask. The classes are capped at 30 and the free consult comes first either way.
