Postnatal · Clydebank
Back to strong
after the
baby.
Postnatal training in Clydebank, one-to-one first: core and pelvic floor rebuilt properly, then strength, at a pace that fits broken sleep and a new person in the house. Kids welcome at your session. Every session coached by Stevie.
- Your GP or midwife first. This is the rule, not a preference: after a baby I ask for your GP or midwife to be happy before the first session, and I will ask you at the consult. It is in the terms and on the health questionnaire. Six weeks after a vaginal birth is the usual earliest; longer after a section.
- Kids welcome. One-to-one sessions mean the pram comes in with you. No childcare needed to start.
- Core and pelvic floor first. Breathing, bracing and the basics before any jumping or heavy lifting.
- Your pace. Programmes written around your sleep, your recovery and what your midwife or GP has said.
- Then the gym. When you are ready, classes are there. Plenty of the crew have been where you are.

How it goes
Ten sessions, five weeks, no rush.
One-to-one PT is £295 for ten sessions with nutrition included.
Weeks 1 to 2
Assessment, breathing, core and pelvic floor work, walking targets. Gentle by design.
Weeks 3 to 4
Strength basics: squat, hinge, press, pull, with loads that go up as you do.
Week 5 and on
A plan for classes or continued PT, plus the nutrition structure that fits feeding and sleep.
Inside the gym
This is what a session looks like.
Filmed on a phone in the gym at Clydebank Business Park. Coached from the first minute, scaled to the person, nobody at the front doing the workout instead of watching yours.

Questions
Good to know.
How soon after birth can I start?
After your six-week check for a vaginal birth, longer after a section, and always with your GP or midwife happy. I will ask.
Can I bring the baby?
Yes, to one-to-one sessions. It is normal here.
What about diastasis recti?
Tell me at the consult. The core work is chosen for it, and if you need a women's health physio first I will say so.
