  • Strength is the priority. Muscle and bone density are what keep you independent at 70. We build them properly.
  • Joint-friendly progressions. Warm-ups, ranges and loads chosen for shoulders, knees and backs with mileage on them.
  • Conditioning without the wreckage. HIIT scaled for recovery, not ego.
  • Nutrition for a slower metabolism. Protein targets and structure that work in your 40s and 50s.

Questions

Good to know.

Am I too old to start lifting?

No. Strength training is the single best thing to start in your 40s, 50s and beyond, and it is coached here from the ground up.

What about my bad back or knees?

Tell Stevie at the consult. Programmes are written around what you can do and progressed from there. If something needs a physio first, he will say so.

Are the classes full of twenty-year-olds?

No. The room is mostly 30 to 60, working people, all levels.
