What it costs

What getting fit
in Clydebank costs. Two prices, no membership under them and nothing else to pay. What each one buys, divided by the sessions it contains. Every session coached by Stevie.

The two numbers

  • £205 for the 8-Week Package: every coached class on the timetable, the small-group Personal Training slots, a nutrition plan written for you, and measurements in week one and week eight. That is £25.63 a week.
  • £295 for ten one-to-one Personal Training sessions over five weeks, with the programme and the nutrition plan written for you. That is £29.50 a session.

There is no joining fee, no contract, no direct debit and no membership sitting underneath either of them. When the block finishes, it finishes.

What the per-session number really is

Seven classes a week are on the timetable and every one of them is in the package. Somebody training three times a week for eight weeks is doing twenty-four coached sessions for £205, which is under nine pounds a session; somebody training twice a week is doing sixteen, which is about thirteen. Both are coached by the same person in a gym capped at 30 people, and both include the nutrition plan and the measurements, which are usually sold separately everywhere else.

That is the way to compare this with anything: divide by the sessions you will do, and check what is included in the number rather than bolted on after it.

The question behind the question

Most people asking what it costs to get fit are really asking whether it will be wasted. That is a fair thing to ask about a gym, because a membership charges you whether you go or not. A block does not work that way: it has eight weeks, a start date, a finish date, a cap on the class and a coach who notices. The cost of a block you finish is the number on this page. The cost of a membership you stop using is whatever you keep paying after you stop.

What is not on this page

What the other gyms in Clydebank charge. Not because it is a secret, but because a price is a fact and somebody else's price is not this site's fact to publish. Look it up and do the same sum: what it costs a month, times how many months, divided by the sessions you will genuinely go to, with coaching and a plan added at whatever they charge for those.

Next start

Questions

What is the cheapest way to start?

The free ten-minute consult, which costs nothing. After that the 8-Week Package at £205 is the most training for the money, because every class on the timetable is in it.

Is there anything else to pay?

No joining fee, no membership underneath the block, no kit to buy and nothing sold in the gym. Trainers, something to train in and a water bottle.

Do I pay it all at once?

One payment before the first session is the normal way. If that is the thing stopping you, message Stevie and say so; he would rather sort a way for you to start.

Is there a cheaper price for anyone?

Anyone employed on Clydebank Business Park pays £185 instead of £205. That is the only different price and it is on its own page.

What happens to the money if I miss sessions?

The block runs to its dates. Unused sessions stay as credit against a later block rather than being refunded, and there are no freezes or transfers. The terms say it in full.

More on the money: both prices on one page, what £205 pays for, line by line, eight weeks against a rolling membership, what personal training costs round here.
