Most gyms want a direct debit that never ends. Sanctuary Fitness runs eight-week packages with a date you start and a date you finish. Here is why.
A deadline gets people through the door
"I will go when I have time" becomes "I have seven weeks left." Everybody trains harder with a finish line, and everybody finds it easier to start when the start is a Monday on the calendar rather than "sometime".
Measured at both ends
Weight, tape measurements and strength numbers in week one, the same again in week eight. A rolling membership never asks you to stand on the scale, which is comfortable and useless. The tape measure is honest.
A natural point to decide
At the end of eight weeks you look at the numbers and choose: another eight, one-to-one Personal Training, or a planned break. Nobody is quietly paying £30 a month for a gym they stopped going to in February.
What it costs
£205 for the eight weeks, no contract, no joining fee. Every class, Personal Training slots, a nutrition plan, both sets of measurements. The next group starts Monday 28 September.
What happens after
Read the three options after week 8. Most people go again. Some go private. A few take a break with a date to come back, and the restart guide is there for that.
