Less back.
Golf fitness coaching in Clydebank: rotational strength, hip and thoracic mobility, and a stronger core so you swing faster and finish eighteen holes without a sore back. Coached in small groups or one-to-one, built round your golf, not instead of it. Every session coached by Stevie.
- Rotate under load. Medicine ball throws, cable and band rotation, coached so the power comes from the hips and not the lower back.
- Move where the swing needs it. Hip and upper-back mobility work every session. Most lost yards are lost turn, not lost strength.
- A back that lasts eighteen. Glute and core strength that takes the load off the lumbar spine. Fewer painkillers on the back nine.
- Legs for the walk. Squats, hinges and single-leg work so the last three holes are played on legs, not on hope.
- Fits the season. Two sessions a week in season, three in winter. Training over 40 explains how the loading is handled.

The block
Eight weeks, built round your golf.
Winter is the best time; in season it fits round rounds.
Weeks 1 and 2
Measurements, a movement check of hips and upper back, and the basics coached: squat, hinge, press, rotate.
Weeks 3 to 7
Strength up, rotation work faster, mobility held. Two or three coached sessions a week.
Week 8
Measured again. Then a maintenance plan of two sessions a week that keeps it through the season.
Inside the gym
This is what a session looks like.
Filmed on a phone in the gym at Clydebank Business Park. Coached from the first minute, scaled to the person, nobody at the front doing the workout instead of watching yours.

Questions
Good to know.
Will strength work wreck my swing?
No. A stronger, more mobile body swings the club the way your pro wants it to. We train movement, not muscle for its own sake.
I have a bad back. Can I still do this?
Usually the back is why people come. Tell me what your physio or GP has said and we start from there, gently.
Do I need to be fit already?
No. Most golfers who start here have not trained in years. Every session is coached at your level.
Can my four-ball train together?
Yes, in small-group Personal Training. Four people, one slot, one coach.
